The zone was the place of the clashes between the Visconti and the Torriani for the control of these earths, subsequently in the second half the XV century the Borromeo coming to the Visconti and they made the residential fortress: to visit the inside frescos in the Room of the Justice and the Museum of the Doll, opened since 1988. Going to the town, there is the "Den of the Wolf", a prehistoric natural hollow, to visit the Civic Archaeological Museum with its finds of the Roman necropolis recovered in 1971.
