Identification marks for navigation

In accordance with current international legislation, every vessel sailing in the Ceresio and Verbano areas over 2.50 metres must be equipped with appropriate markings - plates, as explained in the attached file in .pdf (53 kb).

The final white badge will be issued to nautical units that have a concession and/or berth, while the annual tourist badge, in a different colour each year (beige for 2025) will be issued to the remaining units that sail seasonally or not linked to a concession.

The stickers will be issued in real time at the Campione d'Italia headquarters in piazzale Milano 4, by appointment: it isn't possible to forward them by mail.

The amount for the request for the cash on delivery (the amount of which is specified in the appropriate form to be filled in according to the type of request) must be paid to the Bank account no. 136-0009066/63 of the BANCA POPOLARE DI SONDRIO - AGENZIA DI CAMPIONE D'ITALIA (IBAN: IT98 I056 9651 0500 0000 9066 X63- BIC: POSOIT22), with reason: "name and surname / Ceresio Nautical Badge".

As communicated to the ADM on 10 May 2023 on the subject of registration-identification, the Autorità di Bacino lacuale Ceresio Piano e Ghirla in its legal and statutory autonomy proceeds to issue the license plate marks as follows:

• the final white plates will be issued exclusively to Italian Custom units

• badges - tourist plates - annual colour year 2025 beige - to all other EU nautical units, regardless of location, origin and navigation

• the stickers - tourist plate - annual colour year 2025 beige - to all other nautical units customs-registered CH, or other, for 18 continuous months of duration, except for documentation certifying the re-export of the asset (ex.: storage, dry-docking, etc. in Swiss territory), in which case the issue of the tourist license plate may be renewed

All Swiss plates in each Canton are recognized by the "Convention between Switzerland and Italy for the regulation of navigation on Lake Maggiore and Lake Lugano" in .pdf (1.10 Mb); therefore, the permit issued by the Swiss authorities is valid for navigation and stationing in Italy.

The current C mark issued for Lake Ceresio is considered valid for navigation on Lake Verbano (Maggiore), as well as the V mark issued by the Lombard part of Oake Verbano (Maggiore) and the P mark issued by the Provinces of Novara and Verbano Cusio Ossola, by Regional delegation, will be valid for navigation on Oake Ceresio
