The Pescatori's island or Superiore is not too far from the island Bella (separated from an uninhabited islet denominated Malghera), in front of Stresa in the gulf Borromeo. It is characterized from an ancient suburb of fishermen (this is the reason of its name) with simple houses connected from narrow alleys, that lead at the principal street that coasts along the island. Interesting the church of San Vittore of the XI century.
